The tour takes visitors through the different layers that have shaped Góngora: the Aljarafe’s long-standing connection with viticulture, Seville as a gateway to the Americas, the documented founding of the winery in the 17th century, the arrival of the Góngora family and the generations that followed.
Each era is brought to life through the traces it left behind: documents and bottles, implements and tools, labels, offices, anecdotes and artefacts that once formed part of the daily life of the house and the winery.
The exhibition begins at the ‘Bodega de las 70’ and continues through spaces where heritage and activity continue to coexist, until it reaches the wine press and a wine-pressing machine that remains in its original location and is still brought into operation from time to time.
